Renata Priva of Renata Beauty and Wellness, and Jordan Carroll, owner of commercial property – 839 Main Street, Osterville, Map/Parcel 117-103, spoke to MA DEP and instructed to request variance from local Board - from water usage calculation used in Title V. The septic was installed prior to Saltwater Estuary Protection zone created and thus, has higher water use calculation for total tenant spaces. MA DEP water usage table groups nail salons with hair salons. Renata Beauty and Wellness is requesting to consider their nail salon’s actual water usage in the determination.
Edward and Susan Souza, owners – 722 Santuit-Newtown Road, Marstons Mills, Map/Parcel 028-048, failed septic, water shut-off, no occupants, requesting septic repair deadline extension until sold.
Paulene Jones, owner of Jones ‘N - 974 Craigville Beach Road, Centerville, Map/Parcel 226-006, requesting a toilet facility variance for one in lieu of two.
David Flaherty representing Wayne Hyman, owner of Craigville General Store – 628 Craigville Beach Road, Centerville, Map/Parcel 246-028, in the Saltwater Estuary Protection Zone, property is a mixed use with a two-bedroom unit on second floor, requesting a variance from Title V to exceed the capacity of the septic system to allow 12 restaurant seats, exceeding the capacity of the designed soil absorption system and a toilet facility variance, been using Temporary Food permit with anticipation of sewer connection. Sewer now scheduled for Fall 2024.
Christopher and Patricia Jeans 181-183 Seabrook Road Hyannis 10/30/23 - Requesting a Sewer Connection Deadline Extension – 6 months, and has a contract in hand.
